Evangelistic Ministries Church is a non-denominational located in the heart of Jacksonville, Arkansas that encourages the people of God to “Stay Motivated About JESUS”. This ministry is known for soul winning and its spiritual warfare tactics. We believe in confronting the issues of life head-on and with full steam without conviction.  It also flows in the gifts of the five- fold ministry.  Our passion and vision is to “Win More Souls for Jesus” before the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus.  This is a deliverance ministry.  We believe that God has equipped the saints of God according to the book of Acts to release healing virtues, and release the oppressed from the bondage and works of Satan.  The Holy Ghost is our unprecedented guest in every worship service.  There is nothing like a Holy Ghost good time. Stay Motivated About JESUS!

      Drs. James and Cynthia Bolden founded the Evangelistic Ministries Church (2 Timothy 4:5) in May 1995 with home Bible Study on Little Rock Air Force Base.  After the church’s first Bible Study and meeting, the Lord led the Bolden’s to move their service from the base housing to the Holiday Inn (Jacksonville); now the Americana Inn.  The first hotel service of eight members was held on Father’s Day, June 18, 1995.  The service was dedicated as a Father’s Day gift to our Heavenly Father.  This dedication to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Weekly Bible Studies were held on Thursdays in the Jacksonville Recreation Building on Martin Street.

     As more people began to attend services, the power of God evidenced by healing, deliverance, and salvation increased.  The Lord added souls faithfully at the Holiday Inn worship services.  As the ministry grew, the Lord led the Bolden’s to move services to warehouse building on 2300 Redmond Road were the Lord blessed every facet of the ministry.  Because of continuous numerical growth, walls were torn down, and the bottom half of the warehouse was converted for Sunday School and Children’s Church services.  Many salvations, healings, casting out of demons and deliverance of the oppressed continued through the years.  This time was also the beginning of other ministries being birthed out of EMC. 

     In March 1999, EMC purchased its present edifice at 101 North Elm in Jacksonville.  The Lord continues to add to the church daily, such as should be saved.  The vision for Evangelistic Ministries Church has led to the organization of the EMIF (Evangelistic Ministries International Fellowship), which serves as a covering, and support Jacksonville’s annual Multi-Denominational Camp Meeting was formed.  EMC has made a tremendous impact in the city of Jacksonville.  “It is one of the fastest growing churches in the city”, as stated by Mayor Swain in Jacksonville.  Powerful prophecies, healings, and other signs and wonders have been witnessed by the EMC family and the public.  Through much prayer and fasting, people are continually being saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost.  Many who attend EMC experience an impartation and revelation of the Lord.  It is a “Holy Ghost Good Time” in the Lord whenever the doors of the church are opened. 

     Evangelistic Ministries Church continues to meet the needs of people spiritually, emotionally and financially.  We thank God daily for blessing this church to continue to do His work in Jacksonville and the surrounding areas through the various auxiliaries and outreaches of the Evangelistic Ministries Church.
